Chronic Relief

Systematically realign the physical structure to alleviate long-standing pain caused by misalignment and structural stress.

Structural Integration

Structural Integration is a system of manual therapy and movement education that focuses on bringing balance to the tensional framework of the body. This is accomplished by the manipulation of fascia - connective tissue that surrounds, penetrates, and supports all structures within the body. Our bodies maintain balance through a synergistic relationship of tension and compression via the connective tissue/myo-fascia. Through progressive manipulation of layers, from superficial to deep, SI aims to lengthen and release fascial restrictions, leading to better postural alignment, enhanced quality of movement, and relief from pain.

When you create a more functional structure, you create a more functional human being.

                                  ~ Dr. Ida P. Rolf

Enhanced Mobility

With better alignment, muscles and joints work more synergistically to restore function and range of  motion.

Improved Posture

Restore the body's natural vertical alignment by releasing chronic muscle tension and compensating patterns.

Sessions

SI 10-Series

75 minutes $150
90 minutes $175

SI 3-Series

75 minutes $150
90 minutes $175

The Structural Integration 10-Series is the traditional method taught by Dr. Ida P Rolf. Through a series of  ten sessions, we aim to align, balance, and de-rotate the segments of the body to improve overall structure.

The 3-Series is a good introduction to SI, as well as post 10-Series work for maintenance and reinforcement of structural work. Each session is tailored to the needs of the individual. Clients frequently feel improvements in breathing, alignment, and generally feel lighter and more balanced.

Myokinetic

60 minutes $125
75 minutes $150
90 minutes $175

Myokinetic therapy targets specific regions of the body to address muscle imbalances and restore mobility, taking both structure and joint relationships into consideration.

This approach is particularly appropriate for clients presenting with pressing areas of tension or discomfort that require more immediate attention. These sessions also serve as excellent preparation for the 10-Series if needed.

JohnPaul Rodier

JohnPaul has been practicing bodywork for nearly 20 years. After many years as a licensed massage therapist specializing in deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial release, his work is now dedicated to Structural Integration.

He is trained in classical Structural Integration, as taught by Dr. Ida Rolf, as well as complimentary methods. He trained under David Davis who has been practicing and teaching for nearly 50 years and at Structura Institute, an International Association of Structural Integrators accredited program dedicated to applied theory and technique, where he received certification as a Structural Integration practitioner.

He incorporates functional movement assessments, manual resistive and orthopedic tests when necessary, and repatterning exercises to help facilitate lasting change.
